Chiropractic Care

We provide advanced spinal correction utilizing "state of the art" chiropractic techniques. Dr. Latimer is advanced proficiency rated in Activator Methods Chiropractic Technique, which is the foremost low force treatment method in chiropractic today.  Activator Methods Chiropractic Technique uses a small, light hand held adjusting instrument, which produces a gentle adjustment without "twisting or popping" the neck of back. These newer correction methods are even safer, more comfortable and more effective than ever before. As a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Latimer has 38 years of training and experience in spinal adjustment  Dr. Latimer is also skilled in providing traditional manual adjustments when needed. The office also has a certified massage therapist on staff for patients who may need this type of therapy in addition to their chiropractic treatment (Please note that many insurance policies do not cover massage therapy, and in order for insurance to be billed for massage, it must be medically necessary as determined by Dr. Latimer, and the patient must be receiving active Chiropractic care from Dr. Latimer)

Corrective Exercises

We teach our patients specific exercises and stretches designed just for them to help strengthen and correct their own unique problem. These exercises can be performed in the comfort of your own home, and can improve the effectiveness of your spinal correction.  In addition to skeletal misalignment, muscles and connective tissues can be out of place or strained by improper alignment and use. Specific exercises and stretches can help your body stay in balance and in health.

Dr. Latimer became a certified Yoga teacher in 1972.  He trained under Swami Vishnudevananda, an Indian Yoga master, who was instrumetal in bringing Hatha Yoga to the west.
